Add the ability to change a page's template
Currently we only have the option of creating a new page from a template. If there are a couple of versions of say, a homepage it would be helpful for the client to be able to change the template of the page and save as a draft, ready for publishing.
If I am right in thinking, the only way to do so at present is to create a new page from template, delete old page and rename.
I doubt this would be too much of a deviation from the "add page from template" feature.

I'm not 100% if I am thinking the same thing you are, but I think it is along the same concept.
I would like to be able to apply a different template to an existing page, also.
I have to make a change the my site's template because a client wants to change something in the html/layout. Updating the page's template did not update any of the site's existing pages.
Now I have to create a new template and then rebuild the entire website again, right? If I could just make a NEW template w/ my client's changes in place, I could then assign the "new template" to all of the existing pages and voila! all of the pages will be updated.
*Ideally* I would like to just modify the template and have all pages built with that template update (perhaps w/ a button that says "Rebuild all pages using this template").
But even going page by page and switching to a new template would be much easier than rebuilding the whole website.
Please let me know if I missed something, but if not, this idea gets a vote from me.
