Allow users to edit pages by showing a form with all of the fields as fields ready to go, instead of the preview pane with the green bubbles.4 votes
My suggestion is to schedule drafts. So when you've set up a draft which is okay for publishing, simply schedule it with a calender to go online on a specific date.4 votes
Make the login button one 'tab key' away from the password input. Not two 'tab keys' away.
I just tried to login, naturally I:
typed my username,
typed my password
at which point I realized that I'd selected 'forgot password' instead of the 'login' button.
The 'forgot password' link should be below the 'login' button, both visually, and in the tab order. Keeping superusers and keyboard ninjas happy can only improve a website. Wouldn't you agree?4 votes
I discovered a need for this after I uploaded 15+ files into the Document Manager and then realized I uploaded the wrong versions of each. So I had to delete each file one by one. A little checkbox next to the files/images would be helpful for this. Just check the box next to each file you want to delete, or check a 'delete all' box, and then hit delete. Voila! All gone with one swift move. Would be a time saver for sure.4 votes
Create server status feeder or page. That says in pagelime fashion.
Hey folks Its 10:15 on Thursday we are doing something techie.
No need to panic just check back later.
Hey folks its now 10:45 est on Thursday and we got it fixed. So you are good to go.
Hey folks all servers are smooth sailing on our side!
-- we just want to know if its on our side or our network, or our code.4 votes
This will allow us to monitor how much server space a client is using, and warn them if they are nearing their total usage.4 votes
good idea – we’ll take a look at setting this up.
i have a site integrated to pagelime. my customer change the FTP password and i need to change this on the Pagelime FTP settings.
But, i dont have admin access, my client just lose it. i have only editor access by email firstname.lastname@example.org
the old developer desapear and i dont have comunication with him.

When browsing our site in PageLime, we always see the live page with a small notification at the top that a draft exists. We would rather have the draft displayed automatically, with an option to switch to the Live view.4 votes
I tend to use a lot of MySQL databases in my designs and it would be great to have the ability to edit the table through pagelime. I know there are other options out there, but when I set something up for my clients it is easier for them to be able to stay in one location and have access to everything without switching programs.4 votes
If more than a single user has access to a site there is the potential for multiple users to edit and publish the same page leading to confusion and incorrect sites. If there was a way to inform a user that a page was being edited by someone else/or even locked while it was being edited that would be great.4 votes
Why can’t you just paste an image URL?
Instead of the sitemap sidebar showing the filename of the page, it would be nice if it could either pull in the contents of the <title> tag, or allow the admin to manually enter it.
e.g. it might be more user friendly for a user to see "About Us Page" in the side bar, rather than "about_us.aspx"3 votes
This tab should go to the right side.3 votes
Allow this to be sorted by name, URL, date added, maybe some other criteria.3 votes
My website uses a simple template system. It is based around several master PHP files and the PHP $_GET function to load content.
Where mycontent.php is inserted into the master PHP file using a PHP include.
However, because of the way the URL is form, publishing changes via Pagelime's FTP client fail. Manually setting the FTP Publishing Target to: "www.pagelime.com/content/mycontent.php" works fine, however this is tedious for sites with lots of different pages!
Some kind of feature to accommodate for sites using the $_GET function would be great.3 votes
Yeah, if you don’t want to edit the include pages directly, or setting the FTP publish target, this is a tough one. Let me think about this for a bit, and see if we can come up with a solution.
e.g. use the pageLime template systems and extend it so you can design/edit a site from a sitemap. drag and drop pages into a sitemap with children/parent nodes.. allow items to be configured to create a sitemap.xml, navigational items.. really would be awesome for complex sites with lots of pages.3 votes
I like the idea of publishing a sitemap.xml to your site from our data. That’s actually quite fabulous, and I’m branching that as a separate feature.
I’m not sure how feasible re-arranging the sitemap is considering we plan on a lot of more advanced integration methods (such as XML, and JSON API based), which do not operate on actual files.
Right now, the sitemap is representative of the URL structure of your site. I feel that what we can do is add a different “perspective” to the sitemap to make it more “conceptual.” We don’t want to over-complicate PageLime, but we have some wireframes for this feature. If this feature becomes popular – we’ll post the wires on our blog and ask everyone for feedback.
I like the Content History to display the Local Time Zone, I'm in the UK so I guess I'm in the minority right now.3 votes
Add the ability to separate users into groups and let users manage other users within their group3 votes
Let us think about this a bit.
I'd like to see Gravatar integrated into the Pagelime App to replace the user icons.3 votes
- Don't see your idea?
