..... and http://cloudcannon.com had it figured out not needing unique IDs. The just need the class of editable or repeatable.
Again this is probably my TOP pet peeve about pagelime.
I also think we should get rid of the need for unique IDs for everything. http://cloudcannon.com has this figured out.
Yes – we’re still working on this, but we’ve scrapped most efforts that we couldn’t support long term. I’ll try to post more on the blog. Blogs are database driven and we’re flat… it gets tricky.
That's cool... it was just getting quiet and I haven't heard about any updates for a while. So I was a little concerned. As much as you can keep all of us in the loop would be amazing even if you're just working on backend stuff. It's goo to know you're still developing in important ways even if it's not front end functionality. And the blog feature is one that would still be awesome to see :) so would an nice photo gallery process.
You guys still developing Pagelime? It's been quiet for a while and I'm honestly getting a little worried...
We’re starting work on “Widgetizing” Pagelime in August.
Has there been anymore progress on this? My clients are getting restless for more functionality blogs, and better photo gallery options.
We’re working on this very hard. (P.S. you could use our server side includes feature to create shared regions of content in the mean time: http://blog.pagelime.com/2009/09/16/new-labs-feature-auto-publish-server-side-includes/ )
this is a GREAT idea!

Great idea – definitely something to consider. Some of this should be possible using our API / FTP-XML as well.
It would rock if there was a way to auto generate the menu when a new page is added... since it is often difficult to explain to users how to maintain the main menu - since often they don't understand page structure and hyperlinks very well.
