We’re starting work on “Widgetizing” Pagelime in August.
Sounds promising, I know Wordpress have XML RPC which has been implemented nicely with minimal fuss to Blogsy iPad app — but will be interested to see how your blog implementation will pan out.
I definitely think your right keeping things as stripped and simple as possible, and know from experience "simple things" don't translate to "simple coding" where apps are concerned. We've had to scrap lots of ideas too and these things take (a lot) of time!
Wufoo is something I'm keen on shoehorning in too. Good luck ;)
I think modules are a fantastic idea and would definitely add value to Pagelime. The beauty of Pagelime though is it's so simple to integrate, so hopefully the guys will find a graceful way of doing this ... the ability to disable features is a good way to go.
For more complex modules though, I would go the way of Mailchimp and partner with a company who does this day in, day out. Mailchimp integrated Eventbrite well.
The only thing I would worry about with this approach is the extra cost to the client, and a reliance on a third party vendor.
We are updating our support channel and looking into a support ticket system
Seconded, I imagine it's tough keeping track of all those emails too ;)badlydrawnrob supported this idea ·
We’ll do this as soon as we can configure our gateway to support it.
This would make the automated billing more appealing for sure, would be nice to allow the client to have the option of the big three (£ $ €), or convert into their local currency.
What would really be helpful is to allow managing of existing forms, while still keeping their original settings, for instance a drop down menu:
Where only the options "value" and "content" be changed, along with the ability to add more options. I expect this wouldn't be easy to achieve though!
Great idea, but best make sure that all forms are secure when created i.e. using verification methods.
I`ve been caught out a couple of times with server hacks.
good idea – we’ll take a look at setting this up.
